These are a series of weekly one-hour sessions for KS2 children who are considered to be gifted or more able in mathematics.
Each session is split into four activities which are all aimed at enhancing problem-solving skills including:
- Multiple-choice mathematical questions
- A snippet of interesting mathematics in the real world
- A puzzle challenge
- A strategy game or mathemagical trick to learn
- Each half term, there is a competition that Mathster Class students can enter with amazing mathematical prizes to be won
